Few days ago I started to update my Gentoo desktop and I can't finished yet because I came across few problems. Already I have writing about libpng, and another problem is kdepim-runtime. I made an ticket in Gentoo's Bugzilla. I hope it will be fixed soon.
The libpng story isn't finished yet because I'm reading the mailing list and it's looks like the downgrade is reasonable than the fresher version. This is the cost when I'm using unstable system (ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64").
